Like almost everyone I have been monitoring the killings in Virginia.
There are so many questions that will never be answered, because the perp killed himself.
Or so the story is at the moment.
More than anything I wish he had survived so we could understand what drove someone to do such a despicable thing.
At this point we don't know much.
How can a person descend to such a state of Hell that he can justify such an act?
I mourn for the families of the victims.
Wrong place at the wrong time.
God have mercy on us all.

Wow, what a tragedy. I just can't imagine why someone would perpetrate such a horrible act against his fellow human beings. How can anyone reach that degree of anger or hopelessness?
One thing is for sure, it will be a media circus for days to come, with the finger of blame pointing every which way.
My take, in a society that is increasingly self-centered and devaluing towards life itself, all the laws, gun bans and security checks won't prevent this from happening again.
Michael: I agree that you can't stop senseless violence. You have to ask yourself what Security was doing for the two hours between the firs killings and the later batch.
If you ban guns, people will still get them, and anyone who wants to can make a bomb out of household chemicals.
