Weather

The old saying is "Everyone talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it. I guess maybe it is an inherrant part of human nature to be displeased with anything we can't control.

We even labor under the illusion that we "Own" a piece of property. No one owns the land. The very idea is preposterous. At best we lease it for a short period of time. It is no more our posession than the sunlight or air or sea.

The only thing worse than believing you "Own" land, is being forced to pay money to keep it. There is an official body of people that holds the land and all your posessions hostage for money. They are underhanded, pittyless, intimidating bullies.

But enough about the IRS.

The weather here has warmed up just enough for it to rain instead of snow. I can find no redeeming qualities in the weather when it is 39 degrees and the rain is coming down sideways.

This concludes our regularly sceduled rant.

Don't blow away!

I normally thing rain is better than snow since it implies a certain level of warmth, but then again, snow can be beautiful and rain can just suck at times.

Sarah: Water is at it's densest at 39 degrees, so when the wind is strong enough to blow it sideways, it stings. I wanted it to warm up, but a little higher than 39. Maybe I need to go visit my Uncle in Mexico

Sucks, doesn't it? We work and work and work and work and for what? Just to exist.

Well, to exist and drink rum.

That's my plan anyway.

Stay warm!!!
