I stayed home from work today because one of my kidney stones was back on the road. So I loaded up on percocet and started forcing water. Man am I getting tired of drinking so much water. And peeing so much.
Drink water....pee.....drink water....pee.....drink water.....pee
About five o'clock it passed.
Whew!
Maye I can get a decent night's sleep tonight.

I don't want to get too personal...but does the pain go away instantly after it passes? Do you SEE it or feel it pass?
Makes me cringe just thinking about the pain. YOUCH.
Anyway, hope you slept well!
PQ: You definitely know when it passes, and the majority of the pain goes away as soon as the stone does. It is all a little sore afterwards, but just achey sore not someone-is-stabbing-me-in-the-back-with-an-icepick sore.
And when you are working on passing the stone, they have you piss in s funnel with a sieve to catch whatever comes out.

Unfortunately it doesn't help if you avoid the middle man and dump the water in the toilet. Good luck and I hope you are feeling better soon.
no-newz: an excellent idea, though. I have tried this with mmy paycheck several times and it just doesn't do much good.
